It's a Beautiful Day is the sort of album that every psychedelic connoisseur should take a listen to at some point or another; its unique style and charming arrangements are certainly different from anything you would've heard back in 1969, and although I personally don't care for "Time Is" (which takes up nearly one-fourth of the album's It’s a Beautiful Day was lead by vocalist and violinst David LaFlamme, with backing female vocals from Pattie Santos. In 1973 Katz refiled his original lawsuit and this time completely reversed the 1969 decision because it was determined that it was no longer the same band performing as It's A Beautiful Day.
